What was your event for?
Our Regional Managers from across the UK & Ireland get together once a quarter to hear the latest news from the business, celebrate success and share ideas.
What areas did you use in the National Space Centre and what did you do in these spaces?
We used most of the Space Centre, the great thing about this venue is that it’s so flexible, you can go from just a small cosy space to hiring out the whole venue if you want to! You can really make it your own too, our in house content team produced bespoke spaced themed videos to go on the screens around the venue and add a H&B feel, to a very surreal environment! In the daytime we used the conference suites to host our meeting and hired boosters for refreshments and lunch.
In the Evening we hired the whole venue, used the planetarium to blast into the evening and sipped a few space cocktails along the way. It was brilliant as the guests could immerse themselves in the venue whilst they ate a fantastic dinner in a unique and exciting setting!
Why did you choose the National Space Centre to host your event?
We’ve been looking for ways to make our events more stand out and unique. For years the team have gone to bland meeting rooms and hotels, but no more! Although I’m not sure how we’re going to beat the rocket tower when we get back to live events.
How would you rate the National Space Centre?
10 out of 10, the guys really couldn’t do enough for us and they were all over everything. We all said that this was the best venue events team we have ever worked with. The team were just a phone call away if you needed anything, everything was on time and exactly as requested and they just went above and beyond, nothing was too much trouble!
